The Xtreme series hose has been developed in cooperation with experienced divers to offer high performance during diving. A team of Miflex 2 engineers analysed the weaknesses of currently used low pressure hoses and developed some very innovative solutions, which led to the birth of the Xtreme series. Xtreme hoses feature an outer nylon braid designed to resist abrasion.
The patented double braid system also provides UV protection, ensuring additional safety against ageing. Unlike traditional hoses, the nylon braid of the Xtreme hose is not shod, but is braided directly onto the hose and secured to the hose by means of stainless steel or brass sleeves. The result is high performance and durability in extreme situations. If you tie a knot in the Xtreme hose, the air flow remains continuous. The Xtreme hose also achieves burst pressures more than twice as high as traditional hoses. The nylon braid that covers it not only guarantees excellent resistance to abrasion, but also helps to reduce possible leaks in emergency situations, thanks to the natural tendency to close the holes, which characterises tracing under pressure. Production is entrusted to fully automatic lines designed and built in-house, in the design of which great importance has been given to quality control, which is carried out automatically on 100% of production. The most sophisticated lines can perform more than 30 checks on every single tube. All non-conforming products are automatically discarded from the production line.
